If you’re reading this article, chances are that either you’re trying to conceive or had unprotected Sex. A woman that knows her body, can see the slightest change in herself. If you are not aware of what to expect you might be worrying for nothing or missing a real pregnancy.  In this post we will be talking about Early signs of pregnancy, before you even missed a period.

Let’s begin with the Early signs of pregnancy!!

1. Bloating.

A boost in progesterone and estrogen is one of the common early pregnancy symptoms, causing many women to swell up early in pregnancy. Progesterone (one of those pregnancy hormones) is relaxing smooth muscle tissues all over your body, including in your gastrointestinal tract. This makes your gut work slower.

What’s going to help you!

Eat small, regular meals and stay away from gas causing foods like fried foods, sweets, cabbage, and beans. Eating and drinking slowly will keep you from swallowing excess air.

2. Frequent Urination.

Having to urinate more frequently is definitely among the standard pregnancy symptoms and tends to kick in about two to three weeks after conception. Once an egg has implanted in your uterus, the hCG hormone ramps up production and begins to rise dramatically. This can make you feel like you’ve got to use the restroom every five minutes. The hCG levels in your urine are used to detect pregnancy, which is how you’ll get a positive result on your home pregnancy test.

What’s going to help you!

If you are drinking the normal amount of water/fluids that you usually do, and you are still feeling the urgency to pee every 5 minutes chances are that you are pregnant, then get a pregnancy test and check yourself, don’t forget to call your doctor to make an appointment.

3. Vaginal discharge.

Cervical mucus changes during early pregnancy. Almost immediately after conception, the vaginal walls tend to thicken up due to the growth of the cell lining the vagina releasing white milky discharge from the vagina.

What’s going to help you!

You can’t do anything to change this, however, I guessed maintaining yourself clean and fresh down there will make you feel better.

4. Sore Breasts.

Experiencing tender breasts is a common sign that your period is coming but it could also be an early indication that you’re pregnant, especially if it’s something that persists or gets worse as time passes. During the early stages of pregnancy, just like other body parts, breasts of a woman also tend to change.

The changes in breasts start happening just after conception. These changes can be felt and are noticeable. The breasts tend to increase in size almost immediately. The hormonal level rapidly changes due to which the breasts may become sore, swollen, heavy or full. The area around the nipples, called areola, may also become dark and feel tender to touch. Sore nipples are also an early sign of pregnancy before a missed period.

What’s going to help you!

Getting a supportive bra to ease the discomfort is the way to go. Talk to a professional in case you have any other concerns, don’t forget your breast might be tender for a while or for a long time, the important thing is that they are getting ready for nourish your baby.

5. Fatigue or tiredness.

During pregnancy, a new being is developed and formed inside a woman’s body. To initiate its healthy growth, the body starts producing more blood than usual to carry nutrients for your baby. Increased progesterone levels along with changes in other hormones tend to be the reason for the tiredness.

The decrease in blood sugar levels and blood pressure can also cause a person to feel fatigued. Emotional changes such as anxiety can also be a cause of decreased energy.

What’s going to help you!

It is advisable to eat food rich in protein and iron and avoid caffeine. Taking plenty of water, and resting, standing up slowly and avoiding any exertion.

6. Another early sign of pregnancy is High basal body temperature.

High basal body temperature is the first sign of pregnancy before missed period. It is due to the changes happening in the pregnant woman’s body. These changes require a lot of energy so they can also cause heating of tissues, therefore, increasing your body basal temperature.

What’s going to help you!

If you haven’t been tracking it and are trying to conceive, consider starting a basal temperature chart to become more familiar with your cycle. The best time to start your chart is the day your period begins, takes your temperature every day at the same time, the day near ovulation, or during early pregnancy, you’ll notice a spike in your temperature.

7. Constipation.

As increased levels of progesterone relax smooth muscle tissues, food begins to pass through your intestines more slowly, which can cause bowel movements to move more slowly.

What’s going to help you!

Eat as many fiber-rich foods as your tummy will allow, and don’t forget to drink lots of water. If you’re really struggling, you might even consider adding a bit of white grape or pear juice to your diet.

9. Spotting.

It could be caused by what’s called implantation bleeding, one of the early signs of pregnancy. usually happens six to 12 days after conception.

It means you’ve got a baby on the way! A few days after conception, the fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tubes and settles in your uterus. There, the egg will attach to the wall of your uterus. Since your uterine lining is rich with blood, a little spotting can often occur and isn’t cause for concern.

What’s going to help you!

Implantation bleeding is real and it happens, however, if you didn’t get pregnant pay close attention to your next few cycles and see if you notice any mid-cycle spotting/bleeding because this can be a sign of a medical condition that would require a doctor’s diagnosis, so definitely visit your ob-gyn if you notice a pattern.

10. Mood swings.

Estrogen and progesterone cause fluctuations in mood throughout the pregnancy. Variations in the hormones are responsible for the inexplicable early pregnancy mood swings. The changes in hormone level affect the neurotransmitters of the brain. It leads to over exaggerated changes in emotions, from a laughter spell to a sudden anger outburst.

What’s going to help you!

Count from 1 to 10 before you send someone far away, but in the meantime remember to buy the pregnancy test and finally try to keep your sanity doing things that you love and enjoy.

Final thoughts about Early signs of pregnancy.

And finally the big day comes, you missed your first period!

As a reminder of how your menstrual cycle works you get your period every month when your egg isn’t fertilized. The egg breaks apart, causing hormone levels to drop and your body sheds the lining of your uterus. If you skip your period, it’s a good sign there’s a baby on board, busy nestling into your uterine wall.

If a pregnancy indeed occurs other symptoms such as morning sickness are about to start.

This is the end of this post I hope this article help you somehow, as always thanks for visiting and I’ll see you next time.
